very convenient location to go tourism, restaurant, station, shopping.
I had to change the room twice, especially second room doesn't have air conditioners and tv(actually not working).
Really amazing person. I saw that someone wrote here about low level of english, for me, I don't have any problem with understanding them. They're carrying and do their best for your comfort there. If I will go to Istanbul again I choose this hotel again, it's for sure. Location is else one plus to this hotel.
The staff of the hotel is excellent,in very kindly, honest e joyfull.I liked this hotel maybe also for this thing.Abdullo aka is excellent. When you need he can take you information.Thank you!!!
Staff helpful wıth local ınformatıon. Allowed me to check ın early at 3am the nıght before my bookıng commenced. Agreed to a dıscounted rate for for us to extend our stay by three nıghts.
Hotel was beıng renovated. Wasnt gıven the type of room that I booked. Frıdge and tv ın room not workıng properly. Wasnt gıven a receıpt for proof of payment when I asked for ıt.
Hotel staff was very pleasant and they try to do their best to help guests in solving any problem that could arise. Location is perfect with view to Aya Sophia and Aya Eirenee..
Hotel is under renovation and there are some things that could be much better for not to big investment.
Awesome staff; I could have invite them all over to Sunday dinner! They were super helpful. Also, the hotel is close to everything, yet quiet and undisturbed. Loved it!
The owner is the best of the hotel. Very friendly man and he can explaint about all Turkey history.
Very small room
Location is great. From the terrace you can see the Blue Mosque while soaking a drink and listening to the Muezins singing in the city: great experience.
The room are not very clean and we found bugs. Staff can't speak much English and we had some communication problems. The wi-fi was really unstable in our room. All the room are tiny and basically composed of beds only.
Location, friendliness and helpfulness of hotel owner
Rooms are too small and not very clean
location is perfect
the blankets are not suitable for a turistic concept.
Hotel's location is indeed the main strong point, just few meters away from Blue Mosque and Sofia mosque, and hotel's owner is a nice person. we also had wireless in our room at 1st floor. for short staying and if you want to be located in "downtown" is ok.
The rooms are really small (we took a double room), we encountered cigarette smell in the room. Also English level is low, so communication is difficult. There is Russian speaking person. wireless was not working on 3rd floor.
- Hotel's location is perfect, 5 minutes walk from almost everything around the old city, and only 3 minutes from the tramway - the staff is very friendly and they did their best to be at our beck and call, they even made a reservation for a friend in a close-by hotel for a the samce price when we couldn't find empty rooms there, abd they do their best to communicate with visitors regardless of possible linguistic problems - the view from the terrace is very nice, seeing the bosphur from one side and Aya Sofia from the other
- Rooms are somewhat small - had problems with hot water
Normal breakfast and the guy on reception, ready to help
Dirty room with a hole in a wall (501) and very dirty floor on a terrace for a breakfast
The staff at the reception was exremely friendly and helpful. The location could not be better. The rooftop breakfast was nice. Air conditioning and wi-fi internet in the room worked very well. Some renovation had been made recently. The towels and beds were clean and new. The price was reasonable.
The rooms are quite small.
Breakfast on the terrasse with the view on Hagia Sophia, and the location very closed of the center of old city.
When we arrive there was no room for us "because of a technical problem" indeed there was a big hurricane during the afternoon and there was water in our bedroom! Happily for us we were transfered for our first night in an other hotel which was better (not so difficult). So for our second night we discover an awful room as dirty as possible, no joke, the bathroom has not even been cleaned, there was hair on the sink, there was pieces of wall painting all over the room ground. What's more we had leaking toilets and of course they couldn't give us another room because the hotel was full. Concerning the staff, we had the unpleasant impression that they were making fun of us with their "no problem, no problem!", As a conclusion and if it's possible for you, we advice you to not book this hotel if you want to have a clean room!
